The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Progresul Pitesti getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Dragoş Oloieru hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Akif Koytan during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 15 played minutes Progresul Pitesti got a freekick which was hit by Aristide Cordescu. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Şandru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan ran back to his position shaking his head. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Emil Şandru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Progresul Pitesti's Emil Şandru got control of the ball when Oğuzhan Sarıaslan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, FC 68AKSARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Panțuru came free, but Edmund Rakoski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Oğuzhan Sarıaslan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progresul Pitesti's Emil Şandru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Oğuzhan Sarıaslan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emil Şandru was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. In the 38th minute of the match Ion Ţeica sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edmund Rakoski skillfully saved the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Enes İltekin notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Progresul Pitesti's Emil Şandru. Emil Şandru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Progresul Pitesti's zone, Oğuzhan Sarıaslan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emil Şandru came out of the goal and Oğuzhan Sarıaslan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 minutes of play, FC 68AKSARAY's Oğuzhan Sarıaslan made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Şandru was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC 68AKSARAY made a substitution. Lokman İley replaced Seyfullah Sadik. If Oğuzhan Sarıaslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute Oğuzhan Sarıaslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Şandru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, İstemihan Sadullah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucian Panțuru got free with Edmund Rakoski in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emil Şandru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enes İltekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Oğuzhan Sarıaslan succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-1. Progresul Pitesti's Emil Şandru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oğuzhan Sarıaslan in the 96th minute of play. Horia Caranică's late challenge caught a FC 68AKSARAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horia Caranică helped the player get up and apologised. The FC 68AKSARAY fans' excitement grew in the 98th match minute when FC 68AKSARAY's Oğuzhan Sarıaslan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC 68AKSARAY fully deserved thier win.
