The referee showed Luizinho Félix the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 12th minute, Luizinho Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Furche came free, but Tadeu Cearense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Tadeu Cearense managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Flavio Maciel fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Flavio Maciel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Tadeu Cearense made a huge save. In the 24th minute Júlio Furche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeu Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Cearense having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's goalkeeper Tadeu Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Maciel. Adalberto Pirani's late challenge caught a Velho Barreiro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Pirani helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Adalberto Pirani got a free kick in the 29th minute. A hard shot 33 in the game by Flavio Maciel from a close distance when the talented Tadeu Cearense managed to make a qualified save. Velho Barreiro FC's players were relieved. In the 46th minute, Armando Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeu Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Furche in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Júlio Furche to make the kick off. Tadeu Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júlio Furche, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57thth minute of the game Flavio Maciel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velho Barreiro FC's Tadeu Cearense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Velho Barreiro FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Christian Messias hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Júlio Furche's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tadeu Cearense was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Luizinho Félix was shown his second yellow card after 61 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Luizinho Félix hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ were awarded a corner. Pedrinho Madureira went to the cornerflag to take it. Tadeu Cearense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Furche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Júlio Furche in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeu Cearense saved Velho Barreiro FC from getting behind. When THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's Flavio Maciel in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Velho Barreiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 86 minutes, Júlio Furche made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Velho Barreiro FC's Tadeu Cearense tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ booed when Velho Barreiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celsinho Prado didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Velho Barreiro FC's Betão Araújo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. THE FLALIRA FAMILY MZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
