Flamengo FSCMZ's Bruninho Montenegro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Flamengo FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. After 9 minutes Flamengo FSCMZ's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Casper Ottens who took care of the corner kick. Ferdi Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruninho Montenegro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdi Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruninho Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Ottens, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Bruninho Montenegro was a little too slow when Niels-Jan Drok got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnout Lembeck got free with Bruninho Montenegro in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferdi Reis's late challenge caught a Flamengo FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdi Reis helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdi Reis hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. If Ferdi Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sven-Erik Harman got in the 42nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jim Kamps handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Reis in the 44th minute of play forced Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Bruninho Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Springplank FC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Rezende came free, but Jim Kamps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferdi Reis to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Springplank FC's Niels-Jan Drok got a free kick in the 51st minute. Jim Kamps didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 52nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. After 55 played minutes Springplank FC got a freekick which was hit by Niels-Jan Drok. Jim Kamps made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sven-Erik Harman in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Flamengo FSCMZ's Virgílio da Fonseca got a free kick in the 58th minute. Casper Ottens took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruninho Montenegro. Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Carlos Rezende could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Jim Kamps made a huge save. 61 minutes into the game, Niels-Jan Drok was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Springplank FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo FSCMZ the free kick. The audience was convinced that Ferdi Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruninho Montenegro was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Bruninho Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdi Reis in the 82nd minute of the match.
