Misbah Skah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Siqueira in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Naji Boughanem prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Atlético São Sebastião getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Guga Arruda hit a great ball. Marrakech FC's Naji Boughanem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Paiva in the 9th minute of play. Rahim Atif sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Guga Arruda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naji Boughanem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Guga Arruda got free in front of the goal in the 13th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Naji Boughanem was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The throw-in from Cauã Galvão in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Marrakech FC's Osmane Molhamam. Rahim Atif hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Marrakech FC's Naji Boughanem got control of the ball when Guga Arruda tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guga Arruda got free with Naji Boughanem in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naji Boughanem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Arruda in the 29th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Guga Arruda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Naji Boughanem was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Guga Arruda sped through Marrakech FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Naji Boughanem. Rahim Atif, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rahim Atif was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Arruda in the 51st minute of play forced Marrakech FC's goalkeeper Naji Boughanem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marrakech FC's Naji Boughanem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Arruda in the 54th minute of play. Naji Boughanem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Aznag Tanjawi's late challenge caught a Atlético São Sebastião's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aznag Tanjawi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marrakech FC's Aznag Tanjawi got a free kick in the 78th minute. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Guo Zhen Cheng with Wilian Pena as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 86 minutes into the game, Atlético São Sebastião's Wilian Pena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Naji Boughanem made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 92 minutes of play Atlético São Sebastião's Wilian Pena was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. If Rahim Atif had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
