Wiliam Sanches started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes LULU TRICOLOR got a freekick which was hit by Eliseu Galvão. After a rather tough play, LULU TRICOLOR's Wiliam Sanches got a free kick in the 11th minute. LULU TRICOLOR's Delfim de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Pena in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to LULU TRICOLOR getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Hermínio Marinho hit a great ball. Atlético São Sebastião's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gene Simmons in the 18th minute. The corner led Atlético São Sebastião's Gene Simmons to fire away a dangerous shot which Delfim de Alcântara despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 19th match minute, LULU TRICOLOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. 22 minutes into the game, Marcus Pinho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético São Sebastião's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LULU TRICOLOR the free kick. Renatinho Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 36th minute, Wiliam Sanches got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Delfim de Alcântara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wilian Pena's late challenge caught a LULU TRICOLOR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilian Pena helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Atlético São Sebastião getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Wilian Pena hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Wiliam Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot. LULU TRICOLOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Sanches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renatinho Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LULU TRICOLOR's Delfim de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guga Arruda in the 45th minute of play. Renatinho Bastos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Sanches, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The corner led LULU TRICOLOR's Alberto Ramos to fire away a dangerous shot which Renatinho Bastos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Marcus Pinho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When LULU TRICOLOR's Wiliam Sanches in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Sanches got free with Renatinho Bastos in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oswaldo de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Renatinho Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Wilian Pena ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delfim de Alcântara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. LULU TRICOLOR's Wiliam Sanches got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, Atlético São Sebastião's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Sanches came free, but Renatinho Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Pena in the 95th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the LULU TRICOLOR players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Atlético São Sebastião.
