Olav Westad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the game, Zacarias Lauaxeta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Olav Westad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Olav Westad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Heriberto in the 17th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Campeones del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Le came free, but Daniel Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Igon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Le, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Campeones del Mundo booed when Sagene IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Løland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Jansen charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Heriberto was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Apolo Heriberto in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Olav Westad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olav Westad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emilio Sugoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatan Ubendu in the 55th minute of play forced Sagene IF's goalkeeper Olav Westad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Emilio Sugoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olav Westad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Jansen hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Campeones del Mundo's Gaston Lucila couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Sagene IF. 67 minutes into the match, Apolo Heriberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olav Westad. Sagene IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Heriberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The throw-in from Feliciano Gorbea in the 73rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sagene IF's Carl Løvlien. 75 minutes into the match, Campeones del Mundo's goalkeeper Daniel Igon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rune Le. Olav Westad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Lauaxeta in the 76th minute of play. Campeones del Mundo's Gaston Lucila suffered a concussion after 76 minutes and had to leave the field. Tom Løland charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sagene IF's Olav Westad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apolo Heriberto in the 78th minute of play. Zacarias Lauaxeta kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Sagene IF's Carl Løvlien managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Feliciano Gorbea in the 85 minute of the game. Olav Westad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Heriberto in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Emilio Sugoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Campeones del Mundo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Daniel Igon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rune Le in the 94th minute. Campeones del Mundo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sagene IF for a fine match.
