The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Polly Magoo Juniors booed when Mount Pleasant FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eden Yard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jan-Erik Tunberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Curtis Twite made a huge save. With a little luck, Mount Pleasant FC's Curtis Twite got control of the ball when Gösta Bergman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Polly Magoo Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roy Johnsson in the 18th minute. After taking down the ball on Polly Magoo Juniors's corner Roy Johnsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Curtis Twite quite easily take care of the ball. German Cibran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gösta Bergman in the 26th minute of play forced Mount Pleasant FC's goalkeeper Curtis Twite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match, Jan-Erik Tunberg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Curtis Twite was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Quade Gledden hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Mount Pleasant FC defense, German Cibran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Curtis Twite. The Mount Pleasant FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Curtis Twite should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eden Yard in the 37th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Markus Fågel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Erik Tunberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Curtis Twite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Zhuang Wen Bang made a precise shot to the right of Curtis Twite. Mount Pleasant FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 44th minute, Omero Zubiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Markus Fågel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eden Yard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Zhuang Wen Bang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polly Magoo Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mount Pleasant FC the free kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Stanley White made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Omero Zubiaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curtis Twite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan-Erik Tunberg scored 5-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Curtis Twite, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mount Pleasant FC's Curtis Twite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Erik Tunberg in the 63rd minute of play forced Mount Pleasant FC's goalkeeper Curtis Twite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Gösta Bergman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Curtis Twite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th match minute, Mount Pleasant FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baxter Gray to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute of the match Roy Johnsson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Curtis Twite skillfully saved the ball. Isak Stålman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Curtis Twite read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes, Baxter Gray mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mount Pleasant FC and the Polly Magoo Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Mount Pleasant FC got a freekick which was hit by Baxter Gray. 81 minutes into the match, Mount Pleasant FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isak Stålman came free, but Curtis Twite reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, German Cibran notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Mount Pleasant FC's Curtis Twite. Curtis Twite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 86 played minutes Mount Pleasant FC got a freekick which was hit by Nathaniel Eicke. Curtis Twite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isak Stålman in the 88th minute of play. Isac Wållander struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Curtis Twite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polly Magoo Juniors. Isak Stålman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Curtis Twite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
