Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jan Pietras started the match with the kick off. If Rodrigo Bardeci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Pietras in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Viguera saved Esmeraldas S.C. from getting behind. In the 10th minute Jan Pietras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Viguera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucjan Mikulski took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emilio Viguera. Emilio Viguera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 13 minutes of play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Jan Pietras made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emilio Viguera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roch Tyszka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Emilio Viguera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emilio Viguera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Pietras's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Piotr Bronkala got a free kick in the 24th minute. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrossi Abeita in the 29th minute of play. When Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Jan Pietras in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 34 in the game by Rodrigo Bardeci from a close distance when the talented Józef Wandzik managed to make a qualified save. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's players were relieved. Jan Pietras scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Viguera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emilio Viguera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roch Tyszka went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Lucjan Mikulski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emilio Viguera having to interfere. Emilio Viguera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Pietras, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Jan Pietras in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esmeraldas S.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrossi Abeita was the one to do the kick off. Józef Wandzik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrossi Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute, Jan Pietras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emilio Viguera. The goal made the score 0-5. Józef Wandzik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guagua Cabañero in the 57th minute of play. Esmeraldas S.C.'s Emilio Viguera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Pietras in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Jan Pietras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Viguera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Pietras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's Józef Wandzik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Bardeci in the 65th minute of play. Jan Pietrass short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Emilio Viguera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jan Pietras had several of the Esmeraldas S.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-8 score and a disappointed Emilio Viguera as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Jan Pietras in the 95th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Emilio Viguera kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-9 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Cosmos 1984 NewDance's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
