E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Ingvall in the 17th minute of play. Henning Eskilsson came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Válter de Sousa. But to his dismay, Válter de Sousa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Henning Eskilsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Valadares in the 25th minute of play. Svettkorvarna's Henning Eskilsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Pontes in the 28th minute of play. After 28 minutes, John Ingvall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Svettkorvarna and the E.C 2 Janeiro RS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 28th minute, John Ingvall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edward Björkdahl succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, E.C 2 Janeiro RS's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Tillman came free, but Carlinhos da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Válter de Sousa during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Válter de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Björkdahl was the one to do the kick off. Carlinhos da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bengt-Arne Henriksson in the 54th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Henriksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlinhos da Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Carlinhos da Costa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Björkdahl in the 60th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play, Svettkorvarna's Aron Tillman made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlinhos da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edward Björkdahl scored 5-1 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlinhos da Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Svettkorvarna's John Ingvall got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute Aron Tillman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Svettkorvarna's Henning Eskilsson got control of the ball when Marco Valadares tried to sneak it across the goal line. Válter de Sousa kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 86 played minutes E.C 2 Janeiro RS got a freekick which was hit by Válter de Sousa. Carlinhos da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Björkdahl in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Svettkorvarna's Isak Hedström got a free kick in the 93rd minute. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Geraldo Eger shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Henning Eskilsson but with some difficulty. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's Carlinhos da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Björkdahl in the 96th minute of play. E.C 2 Janeiro RS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
