If Mauro Abellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tiki Taka FC's Betadur Abastas got control of the ball when Errolan Cillero tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute, Nando Cando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Nastasio Abeitia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olo Uriarte showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Reyes Barcenilla helped the player get up and apologised. Tiki Taka FC's Ronaldinho Abeita was substituted for Nastasio Abeitia. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nando Cando hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Arnalt Abenda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olo Uriarte skillfully saved the ball. Malvin Vidaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Betadur Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Abellaneda in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Abellaneda in the 29th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Olo Uriarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Malvin Vidaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caaguazu's supporters rose to their feet, but Malvin Vidaurre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betadur Abastas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ildephonso Abeijon fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiki Taka FC's protests and gave Ildephonso Abeijon a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Caaguazu booed when Tiki Taka FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildephonso Abeijon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Betadur Abastas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kismi Sierralta in the 39th minute. Betadur Abastas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Faron's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Nando Cando got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Arnalt Abenda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Derwin Abendano came free, but Olo Uriarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Faron was the one to do the kick off. Olo Uriarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Abellaneda in the 51st minute of play. Tiki Taka FC's Betadur Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Faron in the 52nd minute of play. Errolan Cillero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Tiki Taka FC's goal looked a bit too open when Errolan Cillero came free, but Betadur Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Derwin Abendano got free with Olo Uriarte in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olo Uriarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldinho Abeita in the 66th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kismi Sierralta in the 68th minute of play forced Tiki Taka FC's goalkeeper Betadur Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes Caaguazu got a freekick which was hit by Pankracy Kasiewski. In the 72nd minute Derwin Abendano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olo Uriarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnalt Abenda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Betadur Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kismi Sierralta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olo Uriarte was a little too slow when Eguzki Abeijon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 2-1. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caaguazu's goalkeeper Olo Uriarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Tiki Taka FC were awarded a corner. Arnalt Abenda went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errolan Cillero in the 96th minute of play forced Tiki Taka FC's goalkeeper Betadur Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96thth minute of the game Errolan Cillero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiki Taka FC's Betadur Abastas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Caaguazu fans' excitement grew in the 96th match minute when Caaguazu's Errolan Cillero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. For all the effort they put into the match, the Tiki Taka FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Caaguazu.
