Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Robert Sands took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of American Top Team booed when Caaguazu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Cando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6thth minute of the game Conrado Faron who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but American Top Team's Shawn Ashby was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Caaguazu fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Caaguazu's Conrado Faron looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. American Top Team's Shawn Ashby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Errolan Cillero in the 10th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Nando Cando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caaguazu and the American Top Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Nando Cando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Eason came free, but Olo Uriarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Beltza Rubin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. Caaguazu's Baldomero Vellon was substituted for Mauro Bocaran. 24 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Sands came free, but Olo Uriarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Faron took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Shawn Ashby. Shawn Ashby dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Malvin Vidaurre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Shawn Ashby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olo Uriarte made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Morgan Wilkerson sent off a good shot on target. Conrado Faron hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Morgan Wilkerson in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olo Uriarte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Shawn Ashby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Malvin Vidaurre went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The corner ended in Charles Eason almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte did a great save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Conrado Faron to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Faron in the 52nd minute of play forced American Top Team's goalkeeper Shawn Ashby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caaguazu's Malvin Vidaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Conrado Faron kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Shawn Ashby. That made the score 1-4 in the 58 minute of play. Winford Craig kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After having played for 63 minutes, Conrado Faron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caaguazu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Faron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 65 minutes into the match, American Top Team's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Faron came free, but Shawn Ashby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malvin Vidaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shawn Ashby having to interfere. Olo Uriarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Sands in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nando Cando to maneuver through the defense. Olo Uriarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Sands, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. American Top Team's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Baldomero Vellon 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. In the 83rd minute Malvin Vidaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Ashby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shawn Ashby stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Faron's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 85 minutes of play, Caaguazu's Malvin Vidaurre made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shawn Ashby was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 90th minute Conrado Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Ashby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
