Errolan Cillero scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincente Biggs, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Kismi Sierralta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kismi Sierralta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vincente Biggs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Belmiro Urtubia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olo Uriarte having to interfere. Vincente Biggs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Faron, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casanova in the 24th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Olo Uriarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baez FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kismi Sierralta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Caaguazu's Kismi Sierralta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vincente Biggs in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 28 played minutes Kismi Sierralta shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Baez FC's Vincente Biggs to catch but Kismi Sierralta was lucky. It became 0-3 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Vincente Biggs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Errolan Cillero, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Conrado Faron in the 31st minute of play forced Baez FC's goalkeeper Vincente Biggs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caaguazu's Olo Uriarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casanova in the 34th minute of play. Vincente Biggs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Faron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Faron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goalkeeper Vincente Biggs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kismi Sierralta. In the 67th minute Conrado Faron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Biggs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute Caaguazu were awarded a corner. Kismi Sierralta went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Caaguazu's corner Kismi Sierralta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vincente Biggs quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Baez FC's Vincente Biggs got control of the ball when Kismi Sierralta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baez FC's Vincente Biggs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Baez FC from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Caaguazu's Conrado Faron slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vincente Biggs. That made the score 1-7 after 90 minutes of play. 92 minutes into the match, Baez FC's goalkeeper Vincente Biggs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Errolan Cillero. In the 94th match minute, Baez FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Ferreccio to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the game, Orlando Urquijo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baez FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caaguazu the free kick. A collision led to Baez FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Orlando Urquijo hit a great ball. Caaguazu's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
