An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Cozorici in the 19th minute of play forced Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Joaquin Ispuzua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Bordat Aries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vlad Voican saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Vlad Voican proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV from getting a goal against them. 31 minutes in the game Mirco Vucevic did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Bordat Aries. Vlad Voican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bordat Aries in the 32nd minute of the match. Dan Stelaru scored 0-1 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Ispuzua, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice moves Osvaldo Peregrin could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Vlad Voican however easily saved by the left post. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Mădălin Sitaru managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mirco Vucevic in the 44 minute of the game. The Vanadio F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Osvaldo Peregrin was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Cozorici in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Ispuzua saved Vanadio F.C. from getting behind. 93 minutes into the match, Vanadio F.C.'s goalkeeper Joaquin Ispuzua had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dan Stelaru. With a little luck, Vanadio F.C.'s Joaquin Ispuzua got control of the ball when Dan Stelaru tried to sneak it across the goal line.
