Grandi Lupi's Szilárd Mayer quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Márton Nagy got in the 8th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Adam Chazen handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, Waldemar Rutecki notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Grandi Lupi's Tivadar Lovas. Tivadar Lovas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Waldemar Rutecki suffered a concussion in the 14th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Márton Nagy during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FusbalClub Swietochlowice's Ulryk Wodaszak was substituted for Waldemar Rutecki. The supporters of FusbalClub Swietochlowice booed when Grandi Lupi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márton Nagy didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Rafal Roman in the 16th minute really tested Tivadar Lovas's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Janusz Ferfecki kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Gwidon Giejda's late challenge caught a Grandi Lupi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gwidon Giejda helped the player get up and apologised. Márton Nagy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adam Chazen. In the 39th minute Márton Nagy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Chazen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adam Chazen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Róbert Seres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janusz Ferfecki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Tivadar Lovas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The tension between the Grandi Lupi and the FusbalClub Swietochlowice players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tivadar Lovas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 55th minute Janusz Ferfecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tivadar Lovas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gwidon Giejda couldn't finish the play. Tivadar Lovas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pawel Glozor in the 72nd minute of play forced Grandi Lupi's goalkeeper Tivadar Lovas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grandi Lupi were furious when Lajos Saághy was red carded, 73 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Tivadar Lovas had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Rafal Roman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
