A collision led to Idrottsklubben -03 getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Bengt Siggesson hit a great ball. Kristian Törnqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Dunixi in the 8th minute of play. Los Podridos ll's Berkan Birsoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Salkvist in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Los Podridos ll's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Salkvist came free, but Berkan Birsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Idrottsklubben -03's Kristian Törnqvist got control of the ball when Benedicto Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute Leandro Dunixi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Törnqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Idrottsklubben -03's zone, Uno Sefastsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristian Törnqvist came out of the goal and Uno Sefastsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Berkan Birsoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Hääger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Salkvist in the 35th minute of play forced Los Podridos ll's goalkeeper Berkan Birsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Idrottsklubben -03's Lucas Hääger to fire away a dangerous shot which Berkan Birsoy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Henrik Flink came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Idrottsklubben -03 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrik Flink couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leandro Dunixi got free with Kristian Törnqvist in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 46 played minutes Idrottsklubben -03 got a freekick which was hit by Fred Salkvist. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Henrik Flink to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Leandro Dunixi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kristian Törnqvist was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Idrottsklubben -03's Henry Wahlström was substituted for Joel Wästerberg. In the 64th match minute, Idrottsklubben -03 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixten Olofsson to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Idrottsklubben -03's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Dunixi came free, but Kristian Törnqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrik Lindholm hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Benedicto Sancho struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Kristian Törnqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Podridos ll. Henry Wahlström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Berkan Birsoy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 85 minutes into the game, Danilo Acevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Kristian Törnqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Sancho in the 88th minute of play forced Idrottsklubben -03's goalkeeper Kristian Törnqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berkan Birsoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vilhelm Wennersten in the 90th minute. Henry Wahlström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Berkan Birsoy made a huge save.
