The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benê Dracena during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FCF north's Serge Broers was substituted for Jonatan Bilintx. After 3 played minutes Nunes FC got a freekick which was hit by Benê Dracena. Falcão Barreto came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by FCF north's Arcan Çapan. But to his dismay, Arcan Çapan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Falcão Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Steelman in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Nunes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arcan Çapan came free, but Falcão Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Nunes FC defense, Jonathan Steelman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falcão Barreto. The Nunes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Barreto should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Arcan Çapan notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Nunes FC's Falcão Barreto. Falcão Barreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nunes FC's Falcão Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Yan in the 16th minute of play. Falcão Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Alcântara in the 20th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arcan Çapan in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Barreto saved Nunes FC from getting behind. FCF north's Edgar Baan got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nunes FC's Falcão Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Yan in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arcan Çapan in the 34th minute of play forced Nunes FC's goalkeeper Falcão Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xie Yan in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Barreto saved Nunes FC from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Perivaldo Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Falcão Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Yan in the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Arcan Çapan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Falcão Barreto was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Falcão Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mazinho Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arcan Çapan in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Falcão Barreto saved Nunes FC from getting behind. In the 45th minute Xie Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Falcão Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 48 minutes into the match, Xie Yan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Falcão Barreto. Nunes FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xie Yan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of FCF north booed when Nunes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Crişan Junior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nunes FC's Falcão Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arcan Çapan in the 58th minute of play. Falcão Barreto was a little too slow when Jonathan Steelman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-6. After a rather tough play, Nunes FC's Andrézinho de Lima got a free kick in the 65th minute. Nunes FC's Falcão Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Steelman in the 68th minute of play. Falcão Barreto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xie Yan in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd match minute, Nunes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Eger to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Mazinho Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Barreto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xie Yan in the 78th minute of play forced Nunes FC's goalkeeper Falcão Barreto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 80 minutes of play, FCF north's Jonathan Steelman made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falcão Barreto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Miguel Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Edgar Baan came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FCF north fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Baan couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Nunes FC defense, Arcan Çapan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Falcão Barreto. The Nunes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Falcão Barreto should have stopped the shot. Falcão Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After having played for 93 minutes, Mazinho Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCF north's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mazinho Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Nunes FC's goalkeeper Falcão Barreto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arcan Çapan. In the 95th match minute, FCF north was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arne Wijk to maneuver through the defense. Perivaldo Proença blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fausto de Almeida having to make a save. 99 minutes into the match, Nunes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Alcântara came free, but Falcão Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over FCF north could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nunes FC throughout the match.
