Baldomero Seber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 19th minute, Dave Basso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dave Basso in the 22nd minute of play forced Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Baldomero Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomero Seber came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Huracan's Dave Basso. But to his dismay, Dave Basso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 28th minute, Dave Basso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomero Seber was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 31st minute, Dave Basso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Huracan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave Basso in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomero Seber prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the match, Dave Basso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baldomero Seber. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dave Basso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After 40 played minutes Club A. Chipa y Tereré got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Uzuri. In the 41st minute, Dave Basso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A Huracan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Baldomero Seber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Chesus in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rolando Corderun was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes of play, C.A Huracan's Fidel Chesus made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomero Seber was left in no man's land by his defense there! 58 minutes into the game, Dave Basso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baldomero Seber. Dave Basso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Leonides Velasco quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Carl Sagan, made in the 62nd minute of the game. Rolando Corderun charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rolando Corderun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 64th match minute, Club A. Chipa y Tereré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Corderun to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes of play, C.A Huracan's Dave Basso made it 0-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a rather tough play, C.A Huracan's Carl Sagan got a free kick in the 75th minute. Baldomero Seber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Baldomero Seber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Sabino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Basso might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomero Seber. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Basso ran back to his position shaking his head. Baldomero Seber was a little too slow when Dave Basso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-11. Baldomero Seber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Basso in the 89th minute of play. Baldomero Seber came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by C.A Huracan's Dave Basso. But to his dismay, Dave Basso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. After some careless play in the Club A. Chipa y Tereré defense, Dave Basso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Seber. The Club A. Chipa y Tereré fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Seber should have stopped the shot. Leonides Velasco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the match was over C.A Huracan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club A. Chipa y Tereré throughout the match.
