The Made in Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dan Gheară should have stopped the shot. With splendid footwork Arturo Mayen arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-1 by the left pole in the game's 21st minute. Made in Honduras's Dan Gheară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olari Mõniste in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Marcelo Flores recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Baldomero Seber. Marcelo Flores showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. A collision led to Club A. Chipa y Tereré getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Serafino Veto hit a great ball. A hard shot by Francisco Rivera from long distance, 45 minutes into the match, got Baldomero Seber's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rolando Corderun might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Gheară. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolando Corderun ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erick Orellana in the 59th minute of play forced Club A. Chipa y Tereré's goalkeeper Baldomero Seber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Julio Ibañez got a free kick in the 60th minute. A hard and well directed shot from Marcelo Flores led 61 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Club A. Chipa y Tereré's Baldomero Seber became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 4-1. A collision led to Club A. Chipa y Tereré getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Serafino Veto hit a great ball. Arturo Mayen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Baldomero Seber tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baldomero Seber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Pimentel in the 68th minute of the match. Baldomero Seber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Mayen, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
