Líbano's Abdul Jabbar Yazan got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Líbano's Naser Awat was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Imad Abdul Fattah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Juan-Carlos Portillo made a huge save. Juan-Carlos Portillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naser Awat, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Elixio Campomanes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Hafiz Romad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan-Carlos Portillo made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Imad Abdul Fattah sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Líbano booed when Argentino FC TOZEO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elixio Campomanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Naser Awat in the 33rd minute of play forced Argentino FC TOZEO's goalkeeper Juan-Carlos Portillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 53rd match minute, Argentino FC TOZEO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis-Alfredo Ferrer to maneuver through the defense.
