The supporters of Líbano booed when Valle Saron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Saron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vinicio Palazuelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naser Awat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Rafiq Bahir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Palazuelos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mohammad Fareed kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thomas Saron in the 22nd minute of play forced Líbano's goalkeeper Hafiz Romad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Palazuelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafiq Bahir in the 24th minute of the match. Hafiz Romad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Hatem Mujahid was extremely unlucky when he, in the 39th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Vinicio Palazuelos came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Líbano's Naser Awat. But to his dismay, Naser Awat quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A collision led to Líbano getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Naser Awat hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Naser Awat made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Naser Awat ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vinicio Palazuelos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Hafiz Romad came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Valle Saron's Martinez Costeras. But to his dismay, Martinez Costeras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hatem Mujahid in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vinicio Palazuelos saved Valle Saron from getting behind. If Naser Awat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Líbano's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
