George Hellsing stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sultan Yasin's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 33 minutes Omättade Fetter's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mehmet Ferit Karahan who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Omättade Fetter getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Åke Fridlund hit a great ball. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's Bahattin Teren got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Sultan Yasin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Åke Fridlund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kaptan Muslera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Ferit Karahan during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sultan Yasin had several of the Omättade Fetter's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed George Hellsing as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cevdet İlkut blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without George Hellsing having to make a save. If Cevdet İlkut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengt Hedvall hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Cevdet İlkut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Hellsing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Omättade Fetter's goalkeeper George Hellsing had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sultan Yasin. ṨOḰᾋḰ ĿᾋṂϐᾋṨἿ ™ﻨ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
