Baran Sarka started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Ríver Late's Claudio Echeverri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kiko Soeiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kiko Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Echeverri, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, João Augusto Monteiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Claudio Echeverri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Claudio Echeverri made a precise shot to the right of Kiko Soeiro. Gremio NG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 16th minute, Claudio Echeverri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ríver Late fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Gremio NG's zone, Dolfo Clemente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Soeiro came out of the goal and Dolfo Clemente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovani de Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Júnior Quintana in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 24th minute of play forced Gremio NG's goalkeeper Kiko Soeiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Baran Sarka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Soeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kiko Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 33rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Claudio Echeverri in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kiko Soeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Claudio Echeverri came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Ríver Late fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Echeverri couldn't finish the play. Júnior Quintana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gremio NG's goalkeeper Kiko Soeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kiko Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 44th minute of play. Moisés Alvarenga hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Gremio NG's goalkeeper Kiko Soeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claudio Echeverri struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Kiko Soeiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ríver Late. Claudio Echeverri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Kiko Soeiro made a huge save. Kiko Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Echeverri in the 65th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Gremio NG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Ríver Late made a substitution. Carl Skytt replaced Silvério Vargas. Ríver Late's Dimas Barrientos was substituted for Claudio Echeverri. Moisés Bertassi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, Dimas Barrientos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kiko Soeiro. Dimas Barrientos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. 75 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goalkeeper Kiko Soeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Gai. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimas Barrientos in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kiko Soeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kiko Soeiro was a little too slow when Baran Sarka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-4. A collision led to Ríver Late getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Ríver Late's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimas Barrientos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gremio NG's Kiko Soeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emiliano Gai in the 95th minute of play. When Ríver Late's Dimas Barrientos in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gremio NG's goalie prevented a goal. The Gremio NG fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ríver Late were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
