In the 17th minute, Igor Neto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kiko Soeiro. The goal made the score 1-1. Luiz Paulo Cunha hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fabiano Paraíba during the 21st minute. Kiko Soeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu de Sena in the 29th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Igor Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uno Mille FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kiko Soeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Dudu de Sena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Uno Mille FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cristóvão Senna hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonel do Valle to make the kick off. Sílvio Couto made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Júnior Quintana sent off a good shot on target. Júnior Quintana's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sílvio Couto firmly grabbed it by the left post. 56 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu de Sena came free, but Kiko Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiko Soeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Gremio NG's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu de Sena came free, but Kiko Soeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Júnior Quintana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gremio NG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Júnior Quintana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Gremio NG defense, Igor Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kiko Soeiro. The Gremio NG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kiko Soeiro should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Gremio NG's Sandro Nogueira got a free kick in the 76th minute. Sílvio Couto made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Júnior Quintana sent off a good shot on target. Leonel do Valle had several of the Uno Mille FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 79 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Sílvio Couto as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sílvio Couto was a little too slow when Leonel do Valle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 82nd minute. The score was now 2-4. Luiz Fabiano Paraíba got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Luiz Fabiano Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Renatinho Oliveira kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Cunha hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Sílvio Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel do Valle in the 92nd minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gremio NG had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
