The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes INCONA FC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Ioritz. Claudinei de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Bautista having to interfere. In the 7th match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Eduardo Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the game, Rafa de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Bernardo Bautista was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 22nd minute, one of INCONA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for INCONA FC. Bernardo Bautista had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Adhemar Hermes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Bernardo Bautista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adhemar Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute of the match WAU team got a corner. INCONA FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adhemar Hermes ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 27th match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adhemar Hermes to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudinei de Alcântara in the 31st minute of play forced INCONA FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Bautista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Maidana hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute, Carlos Eduardo Alagoano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WAU team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Rafa de Barros hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Bernardo Bautista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. INCONA FC's Bernardo Bautista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinei de Alcântara in the 69th minute of play. Carlos Eduardo Alagoano hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Evaristo Ferman didn't quite understand what happened when in the 72 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 74thth minute of the game Gualterio Dubardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WAU team's Dráusio Siqueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bernardo Bautista made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Rafa de Barros sent off a good shot on target. Jorginho Novaes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernardo Bautista firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of WAU team booed when INCONA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Berasko didn't get a good kick on the ball. WAU team's Claudinei de Alcântara got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Claudinei de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardo Bautista was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Claudinei de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute Claudinei de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Bautista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinei de Alcântara had several of the INCONA FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Bernardo Bautista as he didn't even see the shot coming. Claudinei de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bernardo Bautista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafa de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute.
