A collision led to Mesere getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Mirande Pescatori hit a great ball. Charis Manatakis made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when John Beck sent off a good shot on target. In the 9th minute, Inko Sagrario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Skyborn FC's Boris Almqvist got a free kick in the 11th minute. Pacho Losua was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mesere's Hever Almaguer got a free kick in the 14th minute. After 16 played minutes Skyborn FC got a freekick which was hit by Christoffer Ödmann. Fabian Felin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Maya in the 22nd minute of play. Fabian Felin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vasile Soare, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Mesere's Edgard Maya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Felin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charis Manatakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gösta Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Marko Björkqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charis Manatakis was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
