Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martin Čerňan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Blažej Balzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Fabregas in the 15th minute of play. After some careless play in the ŠK Horelica defense, Barrie Newell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blažej Balzer. The ŠK Horelica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blažej Balzer should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Donny Watson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute of the match Martin Futej shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Piers Maloney showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ashley Gardiner kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Martin Čerňan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Piers Maloney was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barrie Newell in the 28th minute of play forced ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Blažej Balzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Matej Bulej recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Piers Maloney. Matej Bulej showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. The supporters of ŠK Horelica booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donny Watson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matej Bulej sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Matej Bulej took a quick shot and it went in 4-3 without a chance for Piers Maloney to make any attempt to save it. 47 minutes into the game, Andy Gates was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ŠK Horelica the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Clapham Comets F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Gates to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Barrie Newell made the kick off in the second half. ŠK Horelica's Blažej Balzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brad Symons in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rdth minute of the game Barrie Newell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ŠK Horelica's Blažej Balzer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ŠK Horelica getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Matej Bulej hit a great ball. Blažej Balzer acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 64th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Shaun Purkiss. Matej Bulej scored 6-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Piers Maloney, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Matej Bulej left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ŠK Horelica fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-3. 86 minutes into the match, ŠK Horelica's goalkeeper Blažej Balzer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barrie Newell. In the 88th minute, ŠK Horelica's Matej Tomka seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Matej Tomka the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of ŠK Horelica protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Matej Tomka had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Barrie Newell's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Blažej Balzer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.
