Champions Iasi's Ovidiu Bojin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sílvio Montenegro in the 12th minute of play. Sílvio Montenegro took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidiu Bojin. Ovidiu Bojin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Ovidiu Bojin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romário Passos in the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manole Crașovan to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Champions Iasi got a freekick which was hit by Luca Rădvan. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Romário Passos shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 51st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ovidiu Bojin but with some difficulty. In the 53rd match minute, Champions Iasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toader Apăvăloaie to maneuver through the defense. Nils Rast showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manole Crașovan in the 55th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Arsenal de Gols F.C's Tony Brasil slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidiu Bojin. That made the score 1-4 after 73 minutes of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Romário Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arsenal de Gols F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romário Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Arsenal de Gols F.C fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Arsenal de Gols F.C's Romário Passos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zé Roberto Félix came free with the goalkeeper in the 98th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ovidiu Bojin could save by the left post. In the 98th minute, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Zé Roberto Félix ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidiu Bojin. Ovidiu Bojin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-9. Arsenal de Gols F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
