The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Palos during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jaime Bertol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milosz Deery, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Boquenses defense, Milosz Deery kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaime Bertol. The Boquenses fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaime Bertol should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Predators's Cyryl Bojanowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Bertol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Boquenses's Jaime Bertol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Freitas in the 38th minute of play. Predators's Uchenna Panter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Predators from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Predators's Uchenna Panter got control of the ball when Damian Bero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Predators had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
