With a little luck, FLA MQ BRASIL's Luiz Fabiano Mello got control of the ball when Roman Pitin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th match minute, S.C. Potentia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Gabler to maneuver through the defense. S.C. Potentia's Erik Rensenbrink managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Samuel Perez in the 14 minute of the game. Adam Messi's late challenge caught a FLA MQ BRASIL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Messi helped the player get up and apologised. Adam Messi kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. After 19th play minutes Kristján Kipper shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Luiz Fabiano Mello and just under the crossbar into goal. Pascal Vledder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Arósio in the 26th minute of the match. Luiz Fabiano Mello came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by S.C. Potentia's Kristján Kipper. But to his dismay, Kristján Kipper quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Roman Pitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Mello having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Mello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Pitin in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Raúl Soeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FLA MQ BRASIL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Potentia the free kick. After a rather tough play, FLA MQ BRASIL's Raúl Soeiro got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 42nd minute of the match Roman Pitin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fabiano Mello showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adam Messi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luiz Fabiano Mello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristján Kipper in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Kristján Kipper made the kick off in the second half. Kristján Kipper recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Pitin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luiz Fabiano Mello read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 58th minute, Roman Pitin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Fabiano Mello was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Roman Pitin came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the S.C. Potentia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Pitin couldn't finish the play. 63 minutes into the game, S.C. Potentia's Kristján Kipper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Fabiano Mello made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 66th minute, Kristján Kipper made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Fabiano Mello. FLA MQ BRASIL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 69th minute Kristján Kipper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fabiano Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fabiano Mello showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristján Kipper in the 71st minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Anton Rovsing got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Luiz Fabiano Mello quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 72 minutes, Anton Rovsing made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. FLA MQ BRASIL's Luiz Fabiano Mello tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. S.C. Potentia's attentive Tiaguinho de Sousa managed to snatch the ball when Samuel Perez made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. If Tiaguinho de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th match minute, S.C. Potentia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Rensenbrink to maneuver through the defense. Erivaldo Leme charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erivaldo Leme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FLA MQ BRASIL getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Erivaldo Leme hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, S.C. Potentia's Kristján Kipper got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Kristján Kipper left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S.C. Potentia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. In the 91st minute, Erik Rensenbrink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristján Kipper fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fabiano Mello having to interfere. S.C. Potentia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
