An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Pomar in the 4th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Rony Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, DEOXYS F.C.'s Pepe Yates got control of the ball when Tage Backlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pepe Yates made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Tage Backlund sent off a good shot on target. Tage Backlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Pepe Yates made a huge save. Rony Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimosthenis Siamantouras in the 9th minute of play. Tage Backlund took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pepe Yates. Pepe Yates dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Gilson Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilson Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Xiboquinha FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Madureira. When Aldo Pomar fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DEOXYS F.C.'s protests and gave Aldo Pomar a yellow card for diving instead. Pepe Yates stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tage Backlund's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Pomar in the 20th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Rony Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Xiboquinha FC's César Moraes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pepe Yates. That made the score 2-0 after 36 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Backlund in the 40th minute of play forced DEOXYS F.C.'s goalkeeper Pepe Yates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, DEOXYS F.C.'s Madeo Súnico got a free kick in the 47th minute. After a defensive mix-up in DEOXYS F.C.'s zone, César Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pepe Yates came out of the goal and César Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for César Moraes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, César Moraes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pepe Yates was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The audience was convinced that Tage Backlund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pepe Yates was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. A collision led to Xiboquinha FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Albano Eladio hit a great ball. Xiboquinha FC made a substitution. Guto Tasso replaced César Moraes. The supporters of DEOXYS F.C. booed when Xiboquinha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Eladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rony Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Delzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Rony Zanette successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pepe Yates showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Couto in the 90th minute of the match. Jeremias Preuss blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepe Yates having to make a save. 92 minutes into the match, DEOXYS F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Preuss came free, but Pepe Yates reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, DEOXYS F.C.'s Madeo Súnico got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th minute, Manoel Couto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Xiboquinha FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Xiboquinha FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
