Ziemowit Wojtowicz charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ziemowit Wojtowicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Wojtowicz. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Czeslaw Dranka was substituted for Ziemowit Wojtowicz. A collision led to Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ziemowit Wojtowicz hit a great ball. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Sylwester Prosowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Capixaba in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Capixaba came free, but Sylwester Prosowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Pernambucano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Duda Chaves's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after XV de Piracicaba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fryderyk Brzakala took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Hieronim Gorzkiewicz managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Sylwester Prosowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Jurdan in the 16th minute of the match. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Sylwester Prosowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Capixaba in the 17th minute of play. Duda Chaves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes, Bernard Okropny mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin and the XV de Piracicaba players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bernard Okropny hit a great ball. Sylwester Prosowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Novaes in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Gonzalo Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylwester Prosowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Fábio Montoia made a precise shot to the right of Sylwester Prosowski. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. XV de Piracicaba's Michel Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Chaves in the 33rd minute of play. Michel Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duda Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute of the match XV de Piracicaba got a corner. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eurico Novaes ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 37th minute, Murillo Trigo fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Montoia came free, but Sylwester Prosowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Bernard Okropny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sylwester Prosowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fábio Montoia, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Jurdan came free, but Sylwester Prosowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's Sylwester Prosowski got control of the ball when Gonzalo Jurdan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gonzalo Jurdan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Sylwester Prosowski made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as XV de Piracicaba's Fábio Montoia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sylwester Prosowski. That made the score 0-4 after 71 minutes of play. XV de Piracicaba's Ionuț Popete was substituted for Murillo Trigo. Duda Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Pernambucano having to interfere. Severino Capixaba received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sylwester Prosowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Severino Capixaba slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 78th minute. Sylwester Prosowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juvenal de Andrade's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sylwester Prosowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. 85 minutes into the game, Haruna Hassan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Sylwester Prosowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Sylwester Prosowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Jurdan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duda Chaves in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michel Pernambucano saved XV de Piracicaba from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched XV de Piracicaba eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
