Telesforo Casas hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Sobrecastell UD's Iker Flores got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Vermudo in the 16th minute of play forced Sobrecastell UD's goalkeeper Barea Martinez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Bastiaro in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Barea Martinez saved Sobrecastell UD from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Bastiaro in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Barea Martinez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hercule Couret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edilberto Figueroa in the 23rd minute of play. Telesforo Casas's late challenge caught a Magicos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Telesforo Casas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Sobrecastell UD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telesforo Casas to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Edilberto Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sobrecastell UD's supporters rose to their feet, but Edilberto Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hercule Couret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edilberto Figueroa in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hercule Couret saved Magicos from getting behind. After having played for 43 minutes, Evaristo Bastiaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magicos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Evaristo Bastiaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Bastiaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Magicos booed when Sobrecastell UD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Bodelon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Sobrecastell UD's Barea Martinez got control of the ball when Evaristo Bastiaro tried to sneak it across the goal line.
