Wlodzimierz Sokolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patricio Pepillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Lampa in the 4th minute of play forced Cha Fe FC's goalkeeper Patricio Pepillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Wlodzimierz Sokolski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Patricio Pepillo was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. In the 6th minute of the match, Santiago Mikelar tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kryspin Wyrostek saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 25th minute Remigiusz Bronkala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patricio Pepillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Cupial came free, but Patricio Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Remigiusz Bronkala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patricio Pepillo. Cha Fe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remigiusz Bronkala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 35 minutes into the match, Cha Fe FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Cupial came free, but Patricio Pepillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kryspin Wyrostek made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Bartolo Virila sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Pepillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wlodzimierz Sokolski went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wlodzimierz Sokolski in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patricio Pepillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patricio Pepillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoni Cupial, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Virila made a kick off. Kryspin Wyrostek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartolo Virila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Newcastle United's zone, Santiago Mikelar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kryspin Wyrostek came out of the goal and Santiago Mikelar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Cha Fe FC's Santiago Mikelar got a free kick in the 56th minute. Remigiusz Bronkala struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Patricio Pepillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle United. After 59 minutes of play, Newcastle United's Wlodzimierz Sokolski made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patricio Pepillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the game, Evelio Edur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cha Fe FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newcastle United the free kick. After 61 played minutes Cha Fe FC got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Edur. In the 65th match minute, Newcastle United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wlodzimierz Sokolski to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Cha Fe FC were awarded a corner. Evelio Enaut went to the cornerflag to take it. Mikolaj Winszman tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Kryspin Wyrostek. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-4 in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remigiusz Bronkala got free with Patricio Pepillo in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bartolo Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Wyrostek having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Edward Lampa took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Patricio Pepillo to make any attempt to save it. Patricio Pepillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wlodzimierz Sokolski's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Newcastle United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
