Bianco Pallini's late challenge caught a Vascogoianiense FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bianco Pallini helped the player get up and apologised. Bernardo Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antonio Negri, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Enrico Cera charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Enrico Cera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Pirani made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Antonio Negri managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Fulvio Campese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilmar Monteiro in the 63rd minute of the match. Vascogoianiense FC's Bernardo Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giampaolo Pazzini in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th minute Giampaolo Pazzini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vascogoianiense FC's zone, Enrico Cera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 77th minute, Eduino Olano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulvio Campese stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Waldemar Ortiz's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Gilmar Monteiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aris Salonicco FC's Fulvio Campese was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fulvio Campese stood somewhat misplaced when Gilmar Monteiro came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 84 minute. With a little luck, Aris Salonicco FC's Fulvio Campese got control of the ball when João Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vascogoianiense FC's Wesley Vinhas got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Wesley Vinhas off the ground.
