With a little luck, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Karim Bado got control of the ball when Göran Gustavsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Urban Cedergård made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico França in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lenílson Gomes in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urban Cedergård prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute Peder Nordstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karim Bado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Thomás do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Urban Cedergård took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederico França, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, Rio Verde F.C CIMZ's Frederico França made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urban Cedergård was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 40th minute, Frederico França left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rio Verde F.C CIMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 43rd minute Frederico França shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urban Cedergård saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Rio Verde F.C CIMZ were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederico França to strike the kick off in the second half. After 89 played minutes Lenílson Gomes rounded Frosta Härad IF's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-9. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Lenílson Gomes took a quick shot and it went in 2-10 without a chance for Urban Cedergård to make any attempt to save it.
