Ricardo Kaká showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Galsino came free, but Işıkalp Kalhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, El Patriarca ®'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Atak Tanın fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. El Patriarca ®'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zikri Akkaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Atak Tanın's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Djimmy Guimard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 74 minutes of play, Blue Mountain State's Atak Tanın made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Djimmy Guimard was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind El Patriarca ®'s goalkeeper Djimmy Guimard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, El Patriarca ® was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severino Lastur to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Ricardo Kaká's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Djimmy Guimard was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Ricardo Kaká made a great header on Blue Mountain State's corner, it was just that El Patriarca ®'s Djimmy Guimard managed to reach the ball for a save.
