In the 11th minute, Donatello Incera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Donatello Incera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Bakar. Deportivo Turro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Donatello Incera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Aquilino Bakar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donatello Incera in the 18th minute of the match. Efrain Mancio's late challenge caught a PERSPOLIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Efrain Mancio helped the player get up and apologised. After 20 played minutes Deportivo Turro got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Mancio. Arash Lara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aquilino Bakar. Deportivo Turro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Donatello Incera managed to get in a good position for a shot. PERSPOLIS's supporters rose to their feet, but Donatello Incera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Bakar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the match, Curcio Amer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Bakar. In the 46th minute, Curcio Amer made a precise shot to the right of Aquilino Bakar. Deportivo Turro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paul Raoult to make the kick off. The supporters of Deportivo Turro booed when PERSPOLIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro León didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Paul Raoult recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquilino Bakar. In the 69th minute, one of Deportivo Turro:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo Turro. In the 74th match minute, Deportivo Turro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Torres to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes, PERSPOLIS's Baltazar Vives shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aquilino Bakar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in PERSPOLIS reached it. 80 minutes into the match, Deportivo Turro's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Raoult came free, but Aquilino Bakar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of PERSPOLIS booed when Deportivo Turro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Hats didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Curcio Amer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Turro's Aquilino Bakar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Bakar made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Curcio Amer sent off a good shot on target. Felipe Emeterio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gianluigi Donnarumma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, PERSPOLIS's Curcio Torres seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Curcio Torres the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of PERSPOLIS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Curcio Torres had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in PERSPOLIS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 97th minute. Penalty!
