After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Alvaro Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aquilino Bakar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Felipe Emeterio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Rafael Refugio made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Gryffindor Lions's goalkeeper Rafael Refugio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albano Ciceron. The audience thought a goal was coming when Godfredo Platon got free with Rafael Refugio in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Refugio was a little too slow when Godfredo Platon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. Mauricio Eneas kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Gryffindor Lions's Rafael Refugio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Gryffindor Lions from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Gryffindor Lions's Ulises Mosen got a free kick in the 36th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Turro's Albano Ciceron slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rafael Refugio. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. Rafael Refugio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipe Emeterio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. A collision led to Gryffindor Lions getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gervasio Paublo hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Rafael Refugio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Ciceron, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute.
