After a rather tough play, Gryffindor Lions's Bartolo Cordero got a free kick in the 11th minute. Natã Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angel Isusko in the 13th minute of play. Pablo Calixto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natã Brodel made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Ulises Mosen sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidro Isauro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Natã Brodel. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. A collision led to Gryffindor Lions getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Pablo Calixto hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Bartolo Cordero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alvaro Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Arlindo Dante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Refugio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Isuskos short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Natã Brodel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Qijua F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Isidro Isauro scored to the left of an out of position Natã Brodel, making the score, 2-0.

In the 57th minute of the match, Arlindo Dante tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rafael Refugio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Natã Brodel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angel Isusko's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Gryffindor Lions:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Qijua F.C:s goal. Rafael Refugio had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Elói Arantes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Gryffindor Lions fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Gryffindor Lions's Angel Isusko looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 74th minute, Enrique Munhoz made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Refugio. Gryffindor Lions's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
