Daniel Lunca hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Helmuth Duckadam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger Överman in the 17th minute of the match. When Birger Överman came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Frogner fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Överman couldn't finish the play. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bror Larsfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. The corner led Frogner's Benjamin Västberg to fire away a dangerous shot which Helmuth Duckadam despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Frogner's Sixten Dahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Oblemenco in the 26th minute of play. Robert Hammarbäck kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Överman, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Birger Överman hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Daniel Lunca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixten Dahlgren was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. F.C. YKE's Helmuth Duckadam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Överman in the 39th minute of play. Birger Överman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute, Cazimir Puișoru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Birger Överman to make the kick off. YKE defense, Birger Överman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. The F.C. YKE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helmuth Duckadam should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Frogner getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Robert Hammarbäck hit a great ball. Birger Överman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Helmuth Duckadam skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Chants of Frogner echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as F.C. YKE had held the ball for most of the match.
