Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Veidazar in the 9th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Etxatxu Estancion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Higino Pessoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nuno Alves hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The supporters of Pinhote FC booed when AJ Juventus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garcia Hoyos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AJ Juventus FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Elia Rabago hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Pedro Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Ribota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldovino Palomino in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Higino Pessoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Neto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Clemente Ribota. That made the score 1-1 in the 37 minute of play. Baldovino Palomino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Higino Pessoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pinhote FC's zone, Baldovino Palomino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Higino Pessoa came out of the goal and Baldovino Palomino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

AJ Juventus FC's Clemente Ribota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Quaresma in the 51st minute of play. Higino Pessoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etxatxu Estancion in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Pedro Neto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of AJ Juventus FC's Clemente Ribota. Clemente Ribota was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Delmar Veidazars short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Higino Pessoa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Américo Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Ribota having to interfere. Clemente Ribota stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nuno Alves's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Higino Pessoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldovino Palomino in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Delmar Veidazar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Higino Pessoa. Pinhote FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmar Veidazar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 73 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Higino Pessoa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmar Veidazar. In the 79th minute, Severiano Prates hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Etxatxu Estancion in the 85th minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Higino Pessoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clemente Ribota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Neto in the 90th minute of play. Etxatxu Estancion's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Higino Pessoa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
