Chiquinho Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moisés Dracena in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Haridades F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu Pinheiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th match minute, Desportivo Coala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bilal Tiberkanin to maneuver through the defense. Serginho Brito made in the 39th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kléber Penha immediately put the ball in play. Chiquinho Guerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moisés Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Desportivo Coala's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Dracena came free, but Chiquinho Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bilal Tiberkanin was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Kléber Penha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilal Tiberkanin, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Cauã Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Bilal Tiberkanin made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldinho Pernambucano. Haridades F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Kléber Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Desportivo Coala's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
