Diego Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Ekhi in the 17th minute of play. If Silvestre Gurutz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Tomas Ekhi put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Diego Vargas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomero Hernandez in the 35th minute of play forced The Masters's goalkeeper Rodolfo Iliana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Sergio Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Ekhi in the 39th minute of play. Jonathan Osoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Vargas having to interfere. Mercado Paulista F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Silvestre Gurutz scored to the left of an out of position Diego Vargas, making the score, 0-5. After 58 played minutes The Masters got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Loi. 64 minutes into the game, Mercado Paulista F.C's Baldomero Hernandez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Iliana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. In the 67th minute, Tomas Ekhi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diego Vargas. The goal made the score 1-6. The Masters's Rodolfo Iliana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Kusko in the 85th minute of play. Lucio Loi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a little luck, Mercado Paulista F.C's Diego Vargas got control of the ball when Jonathan Osoro tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The Masters had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
