CERRO PORTEÑO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodosio Herena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 21st minute Teodosio Herena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giraldo Laiseca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barto Crespo kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. KIRICOCHO FC's Feliciano Christobal suffered a sore knee after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gotzon Lamas during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. KIRICOCHO FC's Juan Bartoleme was substituted for Feliciano Christobal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Herena in the 30th minute of play forced CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Giraldo Laiseca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Paulo Gomesano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KIRICOCHO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Giraldo Laiseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Herena in the 39th minute of the match. When Jeremias Farras came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the CERRO PORTEÑO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Farras couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, Juan Bartoleme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KIRICOCHO FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavio Pagomari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to KIRICOCHO FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Baldomiro Ikatz hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Celestino Alfaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Astor Sobrido in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Madaleno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paulo Gomesano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Giraldo Laiseca made a huge save. When Jeremias Farras was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. In the 66th minute, Jeremias Farras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Giraldo Laiseca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octavio Pagomari in the 67th minute. In the 76th minute Astor Sobrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Madaleno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venancio Madaleno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Sobrido in the 81st minute of the match. Venancio Madaleno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Astor Sobrido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CERRO PORTEÑO were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after KIRICOCHO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gartxot Antonijoan took the corner. After 86 minutes of play CERRO PORTEÑO's Gotzon Lamas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gotzon Lamas hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After 90 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Alfaro. A hard shot by Teodosio Herena from long distance, 91 minutes into the match, got Giraldo Laiseca's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Giraldo Laiseca made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Octavio Pagomari sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to KIRICOCHO FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Octavio Pagomari hit a great ball. KIRICOCHO FC played a much better game than CERRO PORTEÑO and deserved their victory. The CERRO PORTEÑO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
