The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berenguer Costilla during the 2nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guilherme Valério got free with Giraldo Laiseca in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, AD Pontassolense's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Moyua came free, but Jesualdo Maltez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Vermudo Capetillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Herberto Meireles took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Giraldo Laiseca to make any attempt to save it. With a little luck, CERRO PORTEÑO's Giraldo Laiseca got control of the ball when Arthur Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. When AD Pontassolense's Herberto Meireles, in the 41st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for AD Pontassolense. Urbes Perdiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th match minute, AD Pontassolense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Fraga to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Gartxot Antonijoan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesualdo Maltez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbes Perdiz during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Urbes Perdiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 49 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Urbes Perdiz. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Giraldo Laiseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Fraga, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Giraldo Laiseca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Valério in the 63rd minute of play. In the 69th minute, Guilherme Valério left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AD Pontassolense fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 75 minutes into the game, Guilherme Valério was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AD Pontassolense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CERRO PORTEÑO the free kick. In the 81st minute, Arthur Branco made a precise shot to the right of Giraldo Laiseca. CERRO PORTEÑO's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Guilherme Valério recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Nuno Berrondo got a free kick in the 86th minute. A collision led to CERRO PORTEÑO getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Astor Sobrido hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. AD Pontassolense fully deserved thier win.
