Orvo Meltoranta hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Aimo Kyrönlahti's late challenge caught a Green Squad FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aimo Kyrönlahti helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Green Squad FC booed when Galand FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aimo Kyrönlahti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Gaspar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Miska Känsäkangas having to make a save. After having played for 8 minutes, Yrjö Nylund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galand FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yrjö Nylund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Green Squad FC's Hugo Diniz got control of the ball when Orvo Meltoranta tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 13th minute Orvo Meltoranta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Diniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galand FC's Miska Känsäkangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Barros in the 17th minute of play. Miska Känsäkangas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Barros in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, Orvo Meltoranta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Diniz. Orvo Meltoranta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Hugo Diniz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orvo Meltoranta in the 27th minute. German Cano charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Cano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Green Squad FC's German Cano got a free kick in the 29th minute. Miska Känsäkangas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válter Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Miska Känsäkangas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válter Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Green Squad FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Válter Barreto hit a great ball. Galand FC's Miska Känsäkangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Barros in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Green Squad FC's Leonardo Barros got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Miska Känsäkangas came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Green Squad FC's Leonardo Barros. But to his dismay, Leonardo Barros quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yrjö Nylund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 50th minute of the match, but Miska Känsäkangas made a huge save. 53 minutes into the match, Yrjö Nylund notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Green Squad FC's Hugo Diniz. Hugo Diniz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Leonardo Barros took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Miska Känsäkangas to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orvo Meltoranta in the 59th minute of play forced Green Squad FC's goalkeeper Hugo Diniz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Green Squad FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Barreto to maneuver through the defense. Galand FC's Miska Känsäkangas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Barros in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Galand FC's Aimo Kyrönlahti got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Miska Känsäkangas made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Válter Barreto sent off a good shot on target. Miska Känsäkangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Leme in the 70th minute of play. Galand FC's Miska Känsäkangas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Galand FC from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orvo Meltoranta in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Diniz saved Green Squad FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Barros in the 76th minute of play forced Galand FC's goalkeeper Miska Känsäkangas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miska Känsäkangas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonardo Barros in the 77th minute. Válter Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Miska Känsäkangas made a huge save. After some careless play in the Galand FC defense, Válter Barreto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miska Känsäkangas. The Galand FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miska Känsäkangas should have stopped the shot. 2-5 became the score in the 91st minute when Elói Leme elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
