Calopsita EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rony Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cido Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Calopsita EC's Ulysses Novaes got control of the ball when Adelino Miranda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dráuzio Veloso scored 2-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cido Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute Semih Şentürk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Valle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Gilvan Machado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calopsita EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético de Crisal the free kick. A collision led to Calopsita EC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cido Valle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ulysses Novaes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Atlético de Crisal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
