Brasiliense FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filiberto Garikoitz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dário Pernambucano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Garikoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dário Pernambucano came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Copérnico F.C.'s Arnoldo Txatxu. But to his dismay, Arnoldo Txatxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The supporters of Brasiliense FC booed when Copérnico F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Garikoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Guillelme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Luca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Filiberto Garikoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Pernambucano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Copérnico F.C.'s zone, Agnaldo Mandrak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Guillelme came out of the goal and Agnaldo Mandrak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sixto Jurgi hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Percy Luca to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Copérnico F.C. getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. The referee ignored Copérnico F.C.'s protests and gave Arnoldo Txatxu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Agnaldo Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Brasiliense FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Copérnico F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
