In the 8thth minute of the game Zhou Kang Cheng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copérnico F.C.'s Herminio Guillelme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Zhou Kang Cheng put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Herminio Guillelme. After a defensive mix-up in Copérnico F.C.'s zone, Arnold Hemmen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Guillelme came out of the goal and Arnold Hemmen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes Albertus FC got a freekick which was hit by Gijsbert Bults. Arnold Hemmen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herminio Guillelme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Montrell got free with Ted Stroobos in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 minutes Copérnico F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Netzach Nieth who took care of the corner kick. Albertus FC's Netzach Nieth was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herminio Guillelme in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnold Hemmen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Guillelme having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Copérnico F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asopos Katsiavrias to maneuver through the defense. When Zhou Kang Cheng fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Albertus FC's protests and gave Zhou Kang Cheng a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute Zhou Kang Cheng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herminio Guillelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
