The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Paulino Paião cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Janusz Giejda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Janusz Giejda was a little too slow when Gerardo Polentzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 11th minute Gerardo Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Giejda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulino Paião got free with Janusz Giejda in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Polentzi in the 13th minute of play forced FC SZAFIRY's goalkeeper Janusz Giejda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Alumiara SD's Paulino Paião got a free kick in the 15th minute. Rui Patrício showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radowit Gdaniec in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, FC SZAFIRY's goalkeeper Janusz Giejda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Sendoa. Radowit Gdaniec struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Rui Patrício didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC SZAFIRY. When Edward Dzerwucki fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC SZAFIRY's protests and gave Edward Dzerwucki a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Alumiara SD booed when FC SZAFIRY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Dzerwucki didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23 played minutes, FC Alumiara SD's Witomir Faron shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Janusz Giejda came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Alumiara SD reached it. In the 28th match minute, FC Alumiara SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Paião to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, FC SZAFIRY's Janusz Giejda got control of the ball when Mario Sendoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 31st minute Ari Hutajulu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Giejda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janusz Giejda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Polentzi in the 39th minute of the match. Paulino Paião who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Janusz Giejda when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Paulino Paião scored 4-0 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Janusz Giejda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 47 minutes into the match, Mario Sendoa notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC SZAFIRY's Janusz Giejda. Janusz Giejda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Sendoa was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Mario Sendoa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC SZAFIRY's Janusz Giejda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Janusz Giejda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Paião in the 54th minute of play. Janusz Giejda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ari Hutajulu, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After having played for 58 minutes, Mario Sendoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Alumiara SD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Sendoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 60 minutes into the game, Albérico Candal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Alumiara SD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SZAFIRY the free kick. After some careless play in the FC SZAFIRY defense, Mario Sendoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Janusz Giejda. The FC SZAFIRY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Janusz Giejda should have stopped the shot. Janusz Giejda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Paião, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zachary Lanczak during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th match minute, FC Alumiara SD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zachary Lanczak to maneuver through the defense. Janusz Giejda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Sendoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes of play, FC Alumiara SD's Paulino Paião made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Janusz Giejda was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th minute, Mario Sendoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, FC SZAFIRY's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Paião came free, but Janusz Giejda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radowit Gdaniec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC SZAFIRY's Janusz Giejda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Sendoa in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Gerardo Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Janusz Giejda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Polentzi scored 8-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Janusz Giejda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Janusz Giejda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Paião, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Mario Sendoa notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of FC SZAFIRY's Janusz Giejda. Janusz Giejda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FC SZAFIRY's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
